Position: Group Executive – Business Development Support
Location: Pretoria, Gauteng
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: 10+ years (5+ years in senior management)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Economics, Business Management, or related field
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to support small enterprise growth
- Lead business development initiatives and incubation programs
- Manage post-investment monitoring for sustainable returns
- Oversee performance improvement plans for underperforming businesses
- Develop technology programs to enhance enterprise support
- Build partnerships with government agencies and financial institutions
- Manage risk management and compliance processes
- Oversee resource allocation and financial management
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in MSME development sector
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles
- Strong understanding of business development strategies
- Experience in enterprise incubation and support programs
- Knowledge of cooperative development frameworks
