The Role

Maintain and extend Ground Engaging Tools (GET) equipment lifespan through OEM-standard maintenance. Ensure operational efficiency through:

  • Machine availability optimization
  • Safety and environmental compliance
  • Effective client relationships

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor drilling parameters (rotation, feed, air pressure)
  • Inspect/maintain GET equipment per OEM standards
  • Diagnose equipment faults and report issues
  • Perform hammer maintenance schedules
  • Analyze rock tool failures and submit reports
  • Conduct scrap analysis for quality improvement

Requirements

  • Grade 12/N3 Technical qualification
  • GET Certification (advantageous)
  • Proficient in English
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license + 2 years’ experience
  • Physically fit for mining environment work
