General Worker X3

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Qualification: Matric
  • Experience: Not specified (Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a similar role is advantageous)

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or NCV Level 4 certificate.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or a similar role is advantageous.
  • Basic general maintenance and storeroom management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and upkeep.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Self-motivated, with good time management, responsibility, and discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
  • First Aid knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and public holidays.
  • A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including removal of rubbish, cleaning of fireplaces, braais, office buildings, ablutions, accommodations, and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with minor general maintenance tasks relating to buildings, roads, water supply, and infrastructure.
  • Maintain terrain and gardens, including mowing and general landscaping.
  • Record and report maintenance issues in the maintenance logbook.
  • Clean and maintain vehicles, machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices at all times.

Salary:

R136,583.09 – R182,758.24
