JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The ideal candidate will handle general tasks in a workshop environment. This role requires only a brief introduction to get started.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12 or NQF4 is required.
  • A Code EB driver’s license is essential.
  • Load and offload stock.
  • Keep the premises and buildings clean and in good condition.
  • Manage stock control.
  • Provide client service.
  • Be able to do hard manual labor, such as moving heavy equipment.
  • Always add value to the job.
  • Previous experience in a tractor workshop will be an advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep the area tidy.
  • Perform cleaning duties.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Help customers and suppliers load and offload stock, following company policies.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of the premises and buildings.
  • Provide customer service.
  • Assist with workshop tasks, including supporting mechanics.
  • Help workshop mechanics and technicians with daily repairs and maintenance.
  • Pass tools, parts, and materials to mechanics during repairs and assembly.
