About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Worker to join our team in Boksburg. The role involves supporting production activities, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that all processes are carried out according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating equipment following SOPs.
• Adhere to HACCP principles and food safety standards.
• Identify and report corrective actions when necessary.
• Record and report wastage and downtime.
• Perform routine checks and maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.
• Report any deviations or unsafe practices to the supervisor.
• Follow personal and factory hygiene standards.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Basic literacy and numeracy.
• Understanding of process specifications, recipes, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear understanding of goals and objectives set by the supervisor.
• Willingness to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.
• Team player with strong self‑motivation and discipline.
• Open to training and multi‑skilling.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science, or a 3‑year tertiary qualification (NQF 6).
• Placement assessment required.
• Clean criminal record.
• Medically fit for the role.
