Purpose of Job

  • To operate mining-related machinery and equipment within set limits. This helps reduce waste and keep operating costs low.

Key Accountabilities

  • Apply and maintain safety in the work environment.
  • Carry out work as planned.
  • Join daily morning meetings to discuss tasks.
  • Give clear feedback to your supervisor on work progress.
  • Follow safety standards to support a safe workplace.
  • Keep the area clean and follow waste disposal rules.
  • Find faults using the right methods to keep equipment working.
  • Attend training courses and seminars as needed to build skills.
  • Spot your own training needs and add them to your personal development plan with your leader’s approval.
  • Support the business goals by meeting deadlines.
  • Do plant inspections and repairs when needed to ensure equipment works well.
  • Give updates to customers on work progress.
  • Carry out inspections to keep and improve plant conditions.
  • Record correct history feedback to help with renewals, upgrades, and spare parts.
  • Take part in toolbox talks to boost plant safety.
  • Join problem-solving and root cause analysis meetings to improve safety and stability.
  • Look for ways to improve things in your work area.
