We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker to join our stores team. This role involves managing stock in a warehouse setting for our healthcare facilities.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in warehouse management.
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and basic math.
- Good people skills and the ability to communicate well. Must be a team player.
- Physically fit to lift and move heavy boxes or bags. Able to use a pallet jack to move heavy loads to different areas. Willing to help with stock counts.
Main Duties
- Pick and deliver stock on time to wards, clinics, theaters, and other departments in a safe and cost-effective way.
- Keep records of all deliveries for audits.
- Help with receiving, issuing, and storing stock.
- Clean the stores regularly.
- Assist with stock-taking activities.
- Perform any other related tasks as needed.
Shortlisted candidates will need to complete a practical assessment.
Salary: R 138 486 to R 163 131 per year, plus benefits (13th cheque, pension fund contribution, housing and medical aid allowance).
