Job Description

The ideal team player will handle daily tasks related to the movement and control of warehouse stock. This includes administration for final product intake, picking, loading vehicles, and stock control in the warehouse. The goal is to work efficiently and effectively in a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an agricultural setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Keep the area clean and organized before the shift starts and at the end.
• Print and prepare daily documents.
• Complete handovers and communicate between shifts.
• Do a daily stock count at the start of each morning shift before any work begins.
• When receiving stock, check:
  • Product type (correct packaging matches pallet label)
  • Quantity received
  • Quality: bagging and slings in good condition
  • Pallet barcodes visible on all products
  • Expiry dates
• Move pallets into the warehouse storeroom.
• Scan pallet labels into the correct bins.
• Verify the correct pallet is picked using the barcode.
• Move picked pallets to the loading area, grouping them by load.
• Check product integrity before loading: right product and quantity.
• Perform quality checks on final products when receiving, during storage, and when loading vehicles.
• Complete daily control sheets and registers for the job.
