Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality is one of the local municipalities within the Capricorn District Municipality in Limpopo Province. Located 55km south of the district municipality and Polokwane city, it is predominantly rural with a population of 227,965 and covers an area of 3,454.78 km², which constitutes 20.4% of the district’s total land area. The main towns within the municipality are Lebowakgomo (the seat of the municipality) and Mankweng, which is home to the University of Limpopo.

REQUIREMENTS:
The incumbent must be in possession of a Grade 9 certificate or ABET level 4, along with basic numeracy and literacy skills. Additionally, relevant experience of at least 6 months is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Recording livestock impounded in a pound register. Providing full details of stray animals and the person who brought them to the pound.
- Perform daily duties such as counting and feeding animals, cleaning kennels and trucks, and ensuring water availability at all times.
- Perform general maintenance of the pound, report providing assists during animal auctions. Additionally, assist in loading impounded stray animals into the Cattle Pound Truck.
