Requirements and Expectations
Minimum Requirements
- ABET Certificate (higher qualifications are an advantage).
- Knowledge of basic work practices, including how to use simple tools, equipment, and appliances.
- Understanding of caring for lawns, pruning, and trimming plants.
- Basic knowledge of using chemicals (mixing and diluting) for maintenance.
- Familiarity with maintaining machines and equipment.
- Basic understanding of using water and managing resources.
- Awareness of health and safety rules and government regulations for this role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform general support tasks as needed.
- Load and unload furniture, equipment, and materials in assigned areas.
- Clean and maintain government vehicles and work spaces.
- Cut grass, trim plants, and clean pavements.
- Cut and store trees, and control vegetation.
- Help maintain grounds, tools, and facilities for a clean and safe environment.

- Preference may go to candidates living in the Eastern Cape Province.
