General Worker (Gauteng)

Purpose

The position is to assist with general activities on site.

Responsibilities

  • Perform housekeeping duties on site.
  • Attend pre-shift and risk assessment meetings.
  • Ensure tools are kept in safe working condition.
  • Report unsafe conditions and behavior.
  • Liaise with management on work-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules, regulations, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Grade 12.

Experience

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a tailings environment.
  • Proof of residence (not older than three months).
  • Certified copy of ID.

Skills, Qualities, and Abilities Required

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Physically fit to do the work.
  • Emotional intelligence.
  • Listening skills.
  • Visibility on site.

General Requirement

  • Fitness certification.
