Job Description: General Worker (Free State)

PURPOSE

The position exists to assist in the general activities on site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform housekeeping duties on site.
• Attend pre-shift and risk assessment meetings.
• Ensure that tools are kept in a safe working condition.
• Report unsafe conditions and behavior.
• Liaise with management on work-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety rules and regulations, as well as operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12/N3.

EXPERIENCE

• At least 1-2 years’ experience working in a water environment.
• Proof of residence (not older than three months).
• Certified copy of ID.

SKILLS, QUALITIES, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Physically fit to do the work.
• Emotional intelligence.
• Listening skills.
• Visibility on site.

GENERAL REQUIREMENT

• Fitness certification.
