Position Summary
We seek a proactive General Assistant to ensure excellent customer service, maintain merchandising standards, and support store operations in Polokwane.
Key Requirements
- Grade 10/NQF 3 + 1 year experience OR Grade 12 qualification
- Fluency in English and local language
- Valid SA ID/work permit
- Numeracy skills for basic calculations
- Flexibility for shifts/weekend work
- Ability to work under pressure
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Advise customers on product selection
- Resolve customer queries effectively
Store Operations:
- Merchandise stock according to layout plans
- Maintain safety standards and clean workspaces
- Complete daily checklists for facility maintenance
- Label shelves accurately and report damaged stock
Safety Compliance
- Use protective equipment correctly
- Maintain hazard-free customer/staff areas
- Report safety concerns immediately
