Job Purpose:

Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining efficient yard operations through accurate stock handling, clean workspaces, and professional customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load customer vehicles and delivery trucks safely
  • Maintain organized stock storage and accurate counts
  • Prepare materials for transfers between locations
  • Report stock shortages/damages promptly
  • Maintain clean workspaces through regular sweeping
  • Assist customers with product knowledge
  • Package building materials (sand, stone, etc.)
  • Participate in inventory counts

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate
  • 1+ year experience in retail/warehouse (preferred)
  • Physical stamina for lifting/moving materials
  • Basic math skills for stock counts
  • Strong customer service attitude
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Effective communication skills
  • Time management in fast-paced environment
