The Building Company (a division of Pepkor) operates 171 building material retail outlets across Southern Africa. We serve customers through corporate, joint venture, and franchise stores in South Africa, Namibia, Eswatini, and Botswana.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Minimum Education: Matric Certificate
• Location: Eastern Cape
• Department: Logistics & Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify customer/driver orders accurately
• Assist with safe loading/unloading of vehicles
• Maintain organized yard stock and storage areas
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and safe loading practices
• Support workshop/joinery operations as needed
• Manage Wash Bay operations effectively
• Keep store shelves and displays customer-ready
• Uphold company values and workplace culture

Requirements:

• Grade 12/NQF Level 4 qualification
• Basic knowledge of building materials
• Physical stamina for manual tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer service orientation
