Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant (KwaZulu Natal)

Position Overview

Join Sun International’s premium hospitality team as a frontline ambassador providing exceptional guest service while maintaining gaming operations. This role combines technical maintenance with customer interaction at our premier resort location.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary guest contact for gaming floor inquiries
• Maintain and service Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) components:
  • Clean/test card readers, note acceptors, and display screens
  • Replace basic machine components and signage
  • Maintain equipment inventory records
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations and safety standards
• Manage machine relocation and workshop organization
• Promote responsible gambling information

Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 with strong Math/Natural Science marks (C symbol higher grade) OR
• National Certificate in Gaming Operations
• N3 Electrical/Electronics qualification preferred

Essential Skills:

• Valid gaming license eligibility
• Technical troubleshooting ability
• Physical stamina for extended standing/machine handling
• Strong English communication skills
• Shift flexibility for 24/7 operations

Preferred Experience:

• Previous customer service roles
• Basic computer proficiency
