Position Details

- Experience Required: 2+ years in finance/pension administration
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Finance or related field (NQF Level 6)

Key Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Experience with financial systems (BAS/Polfin advantageous)
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Knowledge of retirement fund administration processes
Core Responsibilities
Contribution Administration
- Process electronic/manual pension contributions
- Reconcile bank statements with payment records
- Calculate and track interest on arrears
- Manage year-end financial provisions
Member & Employer Management
- Maintain accurate pension records
- Produce member benefit statements
- Coordinate with employers on contribution compliance
- Update salary and service information
Debt Reconciliation
- Manage purchase of service debt payments
- Resolve payment discrepancies
- Process debt adjustments and write-offs
Additional Functions
- Calculate pension benefit estimates
- Manage additional liability claims
- Handle employer dispute resolutions
