Job Overview

RCL Foods, a leading African food producer, seeks a reliable Forklift Driver to join its Beverages Team in Pretoria West. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, the successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of raw and packaging materials to production lines, maintain accurate stock records, and operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

– Deliver materials and packaging to production lines to avoid delays.
– Safely off-load and handle raw materials and packaging.
– Assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
– Inspect received materials and complete necessary checklists.
– Verify pallet quantities before stacking for production.
– Operate forklifts according to company policies and safety procedures.
– Conduct daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
– Maintain accurate records of material movements.
– Complete logs for equipment usage and inspections.

Requirements

– Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence.
– 2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
– Basic computer literacy.
– Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
– Honest, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
– Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and public holidays as needed.
– Knowledge of safety rules and HACCP principles.
