Key Requirements
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate with Life Sciences (Level 3 minimum)
- Valid driver’s license – willingness to travel required
- Understanding of Forensic Pathology regulations
- Physical/mental capacity to handle human remains in various conditions
- Computer literacy and documentation skills
- 24/7 shift availability including weekends/holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incident scenes and conduct body recovery
- Assist medical staff with post-mortem procedures and specimen handling
- Maintain accurate case records and evidence documentation
- Ensure compliance with health/safety protocols
- Provide courtroom testimony when required
- Manage forensic equipment and facility hygiene
