Old Mutual Limited (OML), a leading African financial services group, seeks a proactive Forensic Assistant to join our Group Forensic Services (GFS) team. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to contribute to fraud detection and ethical business practices across 14 African markets.

Key Responsibilities:

– Analyze transaction data to identify irregularities and fraud patterns
– Support evidence collection for investigations (documents, system logs, correspondence)
– Maintain organized case records using electronic management systems
– Assist in creating fraud alerts and preliminary investigation reports
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen fraud prevention measures
– Monitor regulatory compliance and report potential violations

Qualifications & Requirements:

– Diploma/Degree in Forensics, Accounting, or related field (advantageous)
– 2+ years experience in financial services/forensic environments
– Basic understanding of data analysis tools (QlikView/IntellinX preferred)
– Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
– Excellent organizational and collaboration skills
