Required Education: Matric or equivalent technical qualification
Experience: 3-5 years in water & sanitation
Valid Driver’s License: Code EC1 with PRDP
About the Role:
Join Saldanha Bay Municipality’s team to maintain critical water infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining water reticulation networks and sewage systems
- Servicing valves, chambers, hydrants, and water meters
- Managing new water/sewer connections and disconnections
- Ensuring workplace safety compliance
- Supervising asset control and pest management
What We Require:
- Trade test certification as Artisan
- Proven experience in municipal water systems
- Physical and mental fitness for fieldwork
- Strong problem-solving skills
