Food Services Assistant – Hermanus

Main purpose of the job:

To perform a variety of tasks related to food production, front-of-house services, and general support. This includes following all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.

Desirable education and experience:

  • Working experience in the Hospitality Industry is essential.
  • Matric is essential.
  • Customer service experience is an advantage.
  • A qualification in Food and Beverage or Culinary Arts would be an advantage.

Knowledge, skills, and competencies:

  • Knowledge of basic food preparation.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Passionate about delivering world-class service to clients and customers.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Perform a variety of tasks associated with food production.
  • Provide general support in front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
