Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies seeks an experienced Cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic environment at our Fourways Crossing store. The role includes cleaning the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen to meet Dis-Chem’s high standards.

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• At least 6 months of cleaning experience
• Good understanding of English
• Basic customer service skills
• Ability to work retail hours
• Additional language (area-specific)

Advantageous:

• Bilingual
• Previous retail cleaning experience

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the store, including communal areas
• Develop cleaning routines for consistent results
• Ensure canteen and restrooms are clean and stocked
• Be available to clean as needed during operational hours
• Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment
• Display wet floor signs when cleaning
• Provide friendly and professional customer assistance
• Follow Health and Safety Regulations
