Position Details:

• 📍 Location: Northern Cape
• 📅 Employment Type: Full Time
• 📚 Education Requirement: Matric/N3 Technical
• 💼 Experience: 2-3 years in fire prevention (preferred)
• 🛡️ Field: Health, Safety & Environment

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance:

• Maintain safety standards and conduct risk assessments
• Monitor compliance with fire safety regulations
• Organize emergency response drills

Fire Prevention Operations:

• Inspect/maintain firefighting equipment and safety systems
• Conduct facility safety audits and hazard assessments
• Assist emergency response operations

Reporting & Documentation:

• Maintain inspection records and compliance reports
• Document safety violations and corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

• SAQCC Fire Fighter 1 & 2 Certification
• Hazmat Operations Certificate
• First Aid Level 3 + Basic Ambulance Assistance
• Valid driver’s license
• Fire Prevention & Risk Assessment certification

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of industrial safety protocols
• Experience with fire detection systems
• Familiarity with hazardous material handling standards
