Position Requirements:

• ● Matric Certificate (NQF Level 4)
• ● Firefighter I Certification
• ● Hazardous Materials Awareness Training
• ● Basic Ambulance Assistant Certification or Basic Life Support Qualification
• ● Valid Code C1 Driver’s License with Professional Driving Permit
• ● Current HPCSA Registration
• ● Excellent Physical Condition
• ● Clean Criminal Record

Core Responsibilities:

• ● Perform emergency response operations including fire suppression and rescue missions
• ● Deliver urgent medical care and patient stabilization services
• ● Manage hazardous material incidents and technical rescue scenarios
• ● Conduct equipment maintenance and operational readiness checks
• ● Implement community risk reduction strategies
• ● Participate in specialized rescue operations (water, structural, confined spaces)
