Job Summary

As a Trainee Financial Adviser, you will receive structured training and hands‑on experience. You will learn how to help clients achieve their financial goals while developing the skills needed to become a qualified financial adviser.

Key Accountabilities

• Participate fully in all workplace activities aligned with your development objectives.
• Attend and engage in all training sessions and workshops.
• Provide customer support and assist team members to maintain high performance.
• Complete required administrative tasks, including tracking and reporting.
• Actively pursue leads to meet agreed sales targets and productivity measures.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and follow prescribed scripts to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• FAIS Fit and Proper requirements for Advice and Intermediary Service.
• FSCA‑approved qualification and Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5) – an advantage.
• Product‑specific training, Class of Business training, and continuous professional development.
• Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and good standing.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Law.
• National Senior Certificate / Matric (Grade 12) – required.
