Role Summary

Support the Finance Manager in overseeing financial operations, requiring expertise in IFRS standards, tax principles, and corporate governance. This Johannesburg-based role demands a detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with system controls knowledge and client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and manage general ledger reconciliations
• Advise on accounting standards, tax compliance, and corporate governance
• Collaborate with cross-level teams to resolve financial queries
• Review creditors/debtors functions and implement process improvements
• Represent finance leadership in critical meetings

Technical Requirements

• Chartered Accountant certification (SAICA/SAIPA)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems
• Comprehensive understanding of Companies Act regulations
• Experience with valuation methodologies and cash flow analysis

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years’ accounting experience (audit background preferred)
• Exceptional problem-solving with process optimization focus
• Adaptable to dynamic environments and tight deadlines
• Strong communicator with stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to work extended hours when critical
