Office of the Valuer-General

The Office of the Valuer-General is a state entity under the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development. It was established through the Property Valuation Act No. 17 of 2014, which took effect on 1 August 2015. The OVG is listed as a Schedule 3(A) public entity under the Public Finance Management Act.

Requirements:

  • LLB degree.
  • 8 years of experience at senior management level.
  • Familiarity with relevant labour laws, public sector, and governance regulations.

  • Analytical Skills: Capacity to analyse complex data, conduct benchmarking, and interpret market trends.

  • Negotiation and Communication: Ability to engage in constructive dialogue and effectively communicate recommendations.
