Position Overview

We seek motivated individuals to join our aquatic education team in delivering swimming lessons and water safety programs across Ekurhuleni communities.

Basic Requirements

  • Grade 10 certificate or equivalent qualification
  • South African citizenship
  • Current Ekurhuleni residency (must provide ward number)
  • Valid first aid certification
  • Available for flexible hours including weekends/holidays

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of performing water rescues
  • Able to pass swimming competency assessment
  • Physically fit for active teaching environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured swimming lessons for various skill levels
  • Maintain safety standards and equipment checks
  • Track participant progress through detailed records
  • Support community outreach initiatives
  • Report incidents and maintenance needs promptly
