Facility Manager: Beltana Jobs

Minimum Requirements:

• A 3-year tertiary qualification at NQF6 level or higher in the built environment, such as Quantity Surveying, Construction/Building Management, or Architecture.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the built environment, including 2-3 years at a supervisory or management level.

Other Requirements:

• Expert knowledge to address and solve special problems.
• Ability to maintain project records, including working papers, audit trails, and sign-offs by senior managers.
• Skills to establish procedures for staying informed on issues and results.
• Ensure high-priority work is completed within required timelines.
• Align all outsourced maintenance activities with the maintenance plan.
• Prepare capital and operating budgets for short, medium, and long terms for all assets and services related to asset maintenance.
• Develop specifications for outsourced maintenance work, select service providers, verify and approve work, and process job cards for payments.
• Create maintenance plans with detailed activities, resources, responsibilities, timelines, and risks to meet facility management goals.
• Monitor implementation processes and measure performance and health of facility components.
• Good communication skills in at least two of the three official Western Cape languages (Afrikaans, English, isiXhosa).
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
