Position Summary
We seek an experienced Executive Manager to provide strategic leadership within the Office of the City Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee corporate strategy development and governance implementation
- Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Represent the City Manager at high-level engagements and public forums
- Lead policy formulation and strategic operational planning
- Manage departmental budgets and expenditure control
- Direct performance management for all section personnel
- Coordinate research initiatives to support executive decision-making
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Public Administration/Management
- Valid driver’s license
- 8+ years’ experience with 3+ years at senior management level
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree (NQF Level 8) in relevant field
- 10+ years’ experience with 4+ years in senior management
