Required Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance (Accounting major)
Experience: 7+ years senior management experience
Preferred: Postgraduate qualification, Public Sector experience, Professional registration (CIMA/SAIPA/IIA/CA(SA))

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and other legislative frameworks
  • Oversee budget development and financial reporting processes

Operational Management

  • Lead financial planning, accounting, and revenue management systems
  • Manage annual financial statements and statutory reporting
  • Direct supply chain management including procurement and asset control

Risk & Governance

  • Implement enterprise risk management framework
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

Team Leadership

  • Manage HR functions including talent development and performance management
  • Oversee ICT strategy and governance
  • Promote organizational values and professional conduct

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting (NQF 7)
  • Proven experience in public sector financial management
  • Strong understanding of budget planning and MTEF processes
  • Experience in project management and governance reporting
