Position Details

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (Hospitality/Marketing/Events preferred)
  • Experience: 1-2 years in event management (FMCG/Alcohol industry experience advantageous)
  • Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng
  • Department: Marketing & Brand Management

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Planning

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align events with brand objectives
  • Develop annual event calendars and sponsorship strategies
  • Manage budgets and cost-effective execution

Event Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end event execution including logistics and staffing
  • Coordinate promotional materials and inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

Performance & Development

  • Conduct pre/post-event analyses using KPI metrics
  • Implement process improvements based on evaluations
  • Lead team training and knowledge sharing initiatives

Candidate Profile

  • Proven event management experience with portfolio examples
  • Strong understanding of beverage industry dynamics
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Creative problem-solver with analytical capabilities
