Position Overview:

The City of Johannesburg seeks enthusiastic environmental champions to lead community awareness initiatives as part of our Extended Public Works Programme. This role serves as vital link between municipal environmental efforts and local communities.

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid South African ID
  • Grade 12 completion certificate
  • Current resident within Johannesburg municipal boundaries

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead environmental education campaigns
  • Coordinate outreach programs with local businesses and schools
  • Implement community engagement strategies for environmental protection
  • Monitor and report on local environmental initiatives
