Environmental Officer Specialised Production: Compliance & Enforcement (6 Posts)

Requirements:

  • National Senior Certificate plus a relevant Honours Degree (NQF 8) in Natural Sciences or a relevant qualification.
  • No experience required as per OSD requirements; however, 1-2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.
  • Required skills, knowledge, and attributes: Knowledge of NEMA and its subsidiary acts, Natural Scientific Professions Act, Public Service Act; Computer literacy; Good writing and communication skills; Knowledge of Public Service Regulations. A valid driver’s licence is required.

Duties:

  • Provide environmental enforcement services.
  • Conduct enforcement promotion and awareness processes in the district.
  • Perform and manage administrative and related functions.
