Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement climate change policies and action plans
- Coordinate provincial climate response programs with government and private stakeholders
- Monitor progress on climate initiatives and prepare reports
- Support municipal departments in executing environmental programs
- Organize training workshops and public awareness campaigns
- Manage departmental resources including budgets and teams
Candidate Requirements
- SAQA-recognized Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Proven experience in climate change mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of renewable energy transition planning
- Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
