Environmental Health Graduate

Summary of Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental analysis of illegal dumping hotspots.
  • Develop a database for waste transporters, buyback centres, and recycling facilities.
  • Create standard operating procedures for various waste management activities.
  • Review the annual reports of major waste generators.
  • Evaluate waste management revenue streams and develop new ones.

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • Matric plus a three-year qualification (NQF Level 6) in one of the following fields: Environment, Biodiversity, Conservation, Forestry, Air Quality, Landscaping & Horticulture, Bylaw Enforcement, or Environmental Health.
  • Applicants must be youth aged 18 to 35 years. People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Preference will be given to graduates residing in the Mogale City area and South African citizens.
