Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6)
- 3 years’ post-qualification technical civil experience
- Valid registration with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Professional Engineering Technician
- Valid driver’s license
- Project management experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for civil engineering projects
- Assist engineers with field operations and office-based technical work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
- Develop technical specifications and design documentation
- Manage infrastructure refurbishment projects
- Supervise technical staff and equipment resources
- Provide input for budgeting and operational planning
- Maintain technical databases and reporting systems
Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous skills development
- Research new engineering technologies
- Collaborate with industry regulatory bodies
