Engineer Production Electrical Grade A-C – Engineering Services Jobs

Requirements:

• An Engineering Degree in Electrical (B Eng / BSc (Eng) or equivalent qualification).
• A minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience in Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer with ECSA. A valid driver’s license is required.

Duties:

• Plan, design, operate, and maintain engineering projects. Develop cost-effective solutions according to standards. Evaluate existing technical manuals, standard drawings, and procedures to incorporate new technology. Develop tender specifications.
• Ensure that planning and design by others follows sound engineering practices, norms, standards, and codes of practice. Approve engineering works according to prescribed norms and standards.
• Provide training and development to technicians, technologists, and candidate engineers to promote skills and knowledge transfer, and adherence to sound engineering principles and codes of practice.
• Supervise engineering work and processes. Administer performance management and development. Manage resources and prepare inputs for resource utilization.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and procedures for procurement and personnel administration. Monitor and control expenditure, and report on expenditure and service delivery.
