Engineer – General Civils (12d Model) Centurion Jobs

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

• Design civil engineering infrastructure, such as earthworks and grading, roads, stormwater, sewer, and water systems across various market sectors.
• Prepare or manage deliverables like 3D design models, drawings, reports, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Be proficient in software packages such as Microstation or 12d Model.
• Apply the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work.
• Have knowledge of local standards and design codes.
• Support international projects and work across different time zones (experience in ANZ is an advantage).
• Coordinate with authorities for approvals.
• Solve problems using knowledge, innovation, and modifications to standard procedures.
• Contribute to your area of expertise by suggesting improvements to processes and delivering solutions where no precedent exists.
• Perform technical quality reviews of design calculations, BIM models, and drawings, while following health, safety, and corporate standards.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Strong skills in designing and modeling civil infrastructure (earthworks, grading, roads, stormwater, and utilities) in ANZ or UK&I regions.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Good knowledge of ProjectWise and BIM360.
• Proficiency in software like Microstation or 12d Model is preferred.
• Experience with international standards and design guidelines is an advantage.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary projects using BIM.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Own reliable transport.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4 years of relevant experience after qualification.
• Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer.
