Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF7 Equivalent)

Professional Requirement: ECSA Registration/Eligibility

Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Related Field

License: Valid Driver’s License

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical planning for water/sewer infrastructure systems
  • Maintain and update Water & Sanitation Master Plans
  • Oversee water license applications and environmental assessments
  • Develop infrastructure capacity reports for development projects
  • Manage project lifecycle from feasibility studies to implementation
  • Coordinate cross-departmental resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with municipal policies and quality standards
  • Monitor budget execution and financial reporting

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in engineering design software
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of SCM processes
  • Excellent technical reporting skills
