Position Details:
Employment Type: Full-Time Permanent
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF7 Equivalent)
Professional Requirement: ECSA Registration/Eligibility
Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Related Field
License: Valid Driver’s License
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical planning for water/sewer infrastructure systems
- Maintain and update Water & Sanitation Master Plans
- Oversee water license applications and environmental assessments
- Develop infrastructure capacity reports for development projects
- Manage project lifecycle from feasibility studies to implementation
- Coordinate cross-departmental resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with municipal policies and quality standards
- Monitor budget execution and financial reporting
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in engineering design software
- Strong project management capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of SCM processes
- Excellent technical reporting skills
