Electrical Workshop Assistant Position

Position Details:

- Minimum Qualification: Matric Certificate
- Required Certification: Electrical Trade Certificate (N3/NCV equivalent)
- Experience: 1+ years in electrical field
- Location: Eastern Cape
- License Requirement: Valid Driver’s License
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain electrical tools/equipment for training sessions
- Support lecturers in workshop preparations and student supervision
- Perform minor electrical repairs and installations
- Conduct equipment testing, maintenance, and safety checks
- Manage workshop inventory and resource allocation
- Assist with college recruitment and outreach programs
- Maintain compliance with academic calendars and safety protocols
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of workshop safety standards
- Ability to work with students and educators
- Basic administrative and organizational skills
