Electrical Supervisor Job Opportunity – SARAO

Position Overview:

Ensure reliability of site electrical systems through effective supervision of maintenance programs and operations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage electrical maintenance programs for substations and power distribution systems
• Supervise team of 5+ maintenance technicians
• Coordinate installation/upgrades of electrical infrastructure (22kV/33kV systems)
• Develop preventive maintenance plans using asset management software
• Oversee power generation systems including diesel generators
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and switching protocols
• Manage maintenance budgets and resource allocation

Essential Requirements:

• Electrician Trade Test certification
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (N3 minimum)
• Certification for 22kV/33kV system operation
• Valid Code C driver’s license
• 10 years’ electrical experience (5 years supervisory)

Preferred Qualifications:

• N6 Electrical Engineering Diploma
• Project management certification
• Experience with grid power distribution networks
