Position Details:
- Job Type: Full Time Permanent
- Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
- Experience: 3+ years post-qualification
- Salary: R391,671 – R586,665 per annum (OSD scale)
- Registration: ECSA Engineering Technician required
Core Requirements:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NQF 6)
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Proven experience in technical design and project support
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical services and support for infrastructure projects
- Assist engineering teams with field operations and documentation
- Develop and review technical designs/specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage technical databases and reporting systems
- Conduct research on emerging engineering technologies
Essential Competencies:
- Proficient in AutoCAD and engineering software
- Strong technical report writing abilities
- Project management experience
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication across teams
- MS Office proficiency (Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
