E-Commerce Sales Assistant Jobs

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling various administrative tasks.
• Assisting with daily activities, such as following up on emails or calls, reminding the account manager of upcoming tasks, and ensuring smooth operations across teams.
• Creating attractive deals for customers.
• Conducting market research.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensuring products are accurately loaded into the system with all necessary details.
• Supporting account managers in monitoring suppliers to drive business growth.
• Presenting deals and technical details in a clear and engaging way.
• Preparing accurate spreadsheets and collecting information for meetings or sales campaigns.
• Testing new products and understanding quality standards.

Requirements and skills:

• A tertiary qualification, preferably a BSc or BCom degree, or a completed Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management.
• At least 1 year of sales or relevant experience.
• A solid understanding of planning and logistics processes for products.
• Strong people skills and the ability to sense customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good analytical, organizational, multitasking, communication (verbal and written), and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable using systems to boost productivity in line with business goals.
• Proficient in computer tools like Outlook, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and the internet.
• Strong attention to detail, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work under pressure and accept feedback.
