Duties and Responsibilities for the Role:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for implementing a zero-harm approach towards safety, health, and environmental protocols. Key role responsibilities include:

  1. Managing the incoming and outgoing stock.
  2. Picking, binning, and loading client orders.
  3. Packing and crating stock for client deliveries.
  4. Conducting regular inspections of parts for potential defects.
  5. Ensuring accurate identification of Weir parts.
  6. Managing the stores and their stock.
  7. Liaising with the Admin and Service Centre staff.

Job Knowledge/Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills

  • Matric or Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent.
  • Relevant tertiary certificate in warehousing/logistics/stock control (preferable).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related role.
  • Valid driver’s licence (Code 10) and Professional Driver’s Permit.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on ERP software like SAP, Infor LN (preferable).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
