Job Description

You will be responsible for shunting products within bakeries. You must ensure truck housekeeping and daily truck inspections are completed.
Qualification Requirements
Experience
- Must have a valid Code 14 driver’s license and PDP.

Key Outputs
Responsibilities
- Maintain truck housekeeping to keep trucks neat and clean at all times.
- Report all incidents and accidents to management promptly.
- Pick up or deliver bread from inter-company locations or depots.
- Move all trucks to the wash bay.
- Ensure all vehicles are filled with diesel.
- Park vendor trucks in the designated parking bay.
- Park trucks in the correct places according to the loading pipeline.
- Be able to shunt links, trucks, and trailers.
- Move pre-loaded trucks.
- Conduct truck inspections.
- Ensure trays are always available at the tray bay.
- Attend daily transport meetings.
- Follow the company’s health and safety rules.
- Collect trays from suppliers.
- Assist with transport administration tasks.
- Handle ad hoc deliveries when needed.
