Job Description

Motus Aftermarket Parts (MAP) is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver: Light Duty to join their team in Vereeniging. The successful candidate will ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the vehicle before departure and upon return, reporting any issues immediately.
• Complete and submit inspection lists to the Dispatch Supervisor every Monday.
• Verify parcels with the runner/supervisor before loading, following the New Dispatch Loading procedure.
• Deliver parcels to customers on the designated route as per the schedule.
• Ensure customer adherence to the Proof of Delivery (POD) procedure.
• Adhere to the Returned Freight Procedure (RFC).
• Deliver all documents and collection slips allocated to the trip sheet and obtain PODs.
• Sign in trip sheets with the POD clerk and ensure all assigned documents are complete.
• Take responsibility for outstanding trip sheets and any claims related to missing PODs.
• Prohibit stock transfers between customer shops.
• Maintain and clean the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Report any delivery or POD-related problems to the Dispatch Supervisor.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Grade 12/Matric qualification.
• At least 3 years of delivery experience.
• Valid motorcycle license.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Honesty, integrity, and sober habits.
• Clear criminal record.
