Driver & Licensing Clerk – Rola VW Malmesbury Jobs

Job Summary

• Are you a reliable and professional driver with a passion for customer service and administrative accuracy? We are looking for a Driver & Licensing Clerk to join our VW Malmesbury dealership. This role lets you contribute to excellence on the road and in the office, providing the high-quality service our customers deserve.

In this position, you will:

• Help clients with smooth vehicle deliveries and licensing processes.
• Support internal teams with correct paperwork and efficient admin tasks.
• Represent the Volkswagen brand professionally, with punctuality and a focus on customers.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 qualification
• Valid unendorsed Driver’s License, Code B/08
• Knowledge of roads in Malmesbury and nearby areas
• Experience in a dealership or similar setting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle pressure
• Goal-oriented and customer-focused
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Focus on detail and safety
• Able to work alone and in a team
• Clean criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities

Driver Duties & Client Service

• Drive clients safely and politely
• Pick up and drop off goods and documents between departments
• Keep vehicles clean, safe, and ready for use

Licensing & Administration

• Register vehicles and handle licensing inside and outside Malmesbury
• Manage requests for special or personalized plates and temporary permits
• Keep records accurate and control vehicle keys properly
• Do general admin tasks as needed
• Handle cash transactions

Workshop Support

• Help with small vehicle jobs, like changing bulbs or wiper blades, and pre-delivery checks
• Assist the car wash team when required

Professional Conduct

• Maintain neat appearance and hygiene to meet company standards
• Drive carefully without violations or complaints
• Park vehicles properly and ensure they are secure
