Key Details

• Qualification: Matric (Grade 12) / NQF4 or higher
• Experience: 3 years of driving experience
• Location: KwaZulu-Natal

Responsibilities

• Transport research staff safely and efficiently.
• Transport equipment and supplies for research projects.
• Assist with general administrative tasks for the project.
• Follow SAMRC policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Good communication skills (English and isiZulu).
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license.
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) required.
• Familiarity with driving in uMkhanyakude, northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Advantageous

• Previous experience in research-related work within communities.
• Experience transporting passengers and goods over long periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Organizational and administrative skills for record-keeping and reporting.
